Alright, so. As you can tell by the title, I am CONSIDERING getting my scrotum pierced. I am just looking to see if anyone has some decent information. I have read that it is virtually painless (obvious it wont be painless but I have hear it really hardly hurts at all). Also I am wondering how long it takes to heal and if there are any other things I should be thinking about before I go ahead and get it done.

1-2 months for full healing, make sure the piercing is done with an appropriate gauge (atleast a 12) 10 is best. Sea salt soaks are great for discomfort and a mild anti-bacterial soap once a day in the shower and being sure to keep the piercing from coming into contact with urine. are just a few things of the list of things you want to think of. keep in mind as far as genital piercings go (of course I have not looked at your page to know of anything else you have done) they are a piercing you really want to keep up on as far as aftercare as with any piercing but unfortunately some people don't.
check out your practitioner and see a portfolio obviously.
you can also see bmezine.com and tribalectic.com for some experiences of others.

Why would he need to keep the piercing from coming in contact with urine? I would recommend skipping the antibacterial soap and just stick to a proper sea salt soak.

I have 12 hafada piercings they take around one to two months to heal.
Also use sea salt soaks to help them heal , don't play with your jewelery.
If you use a soap to clean use provon medicated soap from your piercing studio.
The level of pain is minor , just a sharp prick for a second and it's done.
The pain is so little that I now enjoy doing them myself. have done the last nine without a problem

I obviously cannot speak from personal experience, but of all the scrotal piercings I have done, not 1 person said it was painful. Everyone said it was just a small pinch.
