well i want to get an uv tattoo in my neck and i was wondering if it will show ??? i know uv ink will glow under blacklight but i mean if it will look under natural light either from scaring or something like that?
also what happens over the years??? does it stay ? for how long?

although the ink itself is clear, there is usually a noticable mark where it was applied. it does fade after time, especially if taken care of properly, but can usually still be visible for awhile. i cannot guarantee that you won't get cancer from it, but i've been wearing uv ink in my hand for over 6 years and i only have one tumor to show from it (joke).

If your artist has a light hand, scarring should be minimal.  But it can happen.  I have a UV tattoo on my face, and it scarred in a few places.  You can't really notice it unless I point it out.  If you are prone to excessive scarring, you may want to think twice.  It took a whole month, almost to the day, before all the redness went away.  For that month, it was pretty obvious that something happened to my face, although most people assumed I got beat up lol.

I feel it necessary to point out that only the white UV ink is invisible in normal light.  Some people actually do think that colored UV ink is invisible.

ALL tattoo ink has the potential to be carcinogenic, as well as everything that we eat and breathe.  Do your research and find out which brands are good and which aren't.  Crazy Chameleon is my favorite, but the company seems to be AWOL at the moment, so it may be hard to find.
