    Posted: April/28/2009 at 12:25am
I currently have 2 industrials, an antitragus, and a brand new daith (as of like 2 days ago) in the same ear.

I'd like to be able to wear headphones to listen to the radio when I walk around outside, but I can't have standard earbuds and the usual earphones press uncomfortably against the industrials and still-healing antitragus. And I'm afraid that over-the-ear headsets could act as earmuffs and make me too hot when walking around this summer (I'm a cold weather person and can't even stand to wear a hat in the summertime).

I figured the folk 'round these parts might've run into this same problem, and could maybe recommend something? Any ideas?

And yes, I did search the forums before posting. Didn't finding anything that I think I could use.

Have you tried skull candy ear buds? They're cushion-y and much comfier than standard ear buds

I've got some Sony in-ear headphones just like those. And they press against the daith - not uncomfortably so, but still. I'd rather not have stuff pressing against a fresh piercing.

what about the ones that clip around the outside of the ears and rest gently?http://www.epinions.com/review/pr-Headphones_Koss_KSC_50_Clip_on_Headphones_142893ACAD/content_116704054916

I wore a similar pair comfortably with a healing tragus

Thanks for the ideas, man. But it looks like those would press against my industrials.

I'm considering the Outi Earphones, but I'd of course prefer something less expensive. Hmm ...

Don't want to wait that long. I'd like to listen to audiobooks or the radio while walking about this summer.

Same here..& I love the skull candy ones they're real comfortable. However I was/still am afraid I'll put too much pressure/distress on my tragus so I too just wear one headphone in my right healed ear. Those earphones look like they'll be good though-Good luck with them =]
