ok, so i didn't realy know what to name the thread>.< but i wanted to ask, how do you guys feel about having a crowd while you are modding- from a simple piercing to perhaps a suspension? i don't mind having a friend watch me get tattooed, but when it comes to any other mod, i dont want anyone else there at all besides artist...how do you guys feel about bringing someone along? |

For piercings it's Ok, if some good friend watches, but still I'd prefer no crowd.
For suspensions I quite like the small crowd, the society around the events.

hmm I got my VCH done with 4 people in the room. My piercer, my friend (who did the piercing as an apprentice) her boyfriend and my boyfriend. Front row seats for the box show. So I guess I really don't care. I like having people around when I do things, I'd like to have a lot of people around when I do my first suspension, which is probably going to be at skindependence next year or maybe sometime before that if i'm lucky.

Im happy for people to watch.
When piercings are being done... People can watch to see what its like having one done.. they may want one themselves etc etc When tattooing, If people wanna watch then go ahead.. As long as they do not mind the curves out everywhere.. im happy to show off My tattooist (Mr skipper) creating a work of art - HE ROCKS! When suspending.. I prefer having people there I think. They all create such a positive atmosphere. Positive vibes ftw.. They cheer you on and give you courage. |

I don't mind having people watch me get tattooed or get facial piercings.
Basically if I would show that part of my body to someone I would let they watch me get it tattooed or pierced.
If I was getting a genital mod then I would only let avery close friend watch and then only if there was a reason why they would want to.

When I got my cutting from kcir, there were a lot of people around, but they were all bmod members... so people I least sort of knew... and I was completely fine with that. Occassionally someone would sit down and talk to me or hold my hand or whatever... It was actually kind of cool for lots of people to be able to watch.
When I did my suspension at SkinD... it was the day that was open to the community. There were tons of people that I didn't know, and I kept hearing people making comments about the suspensions that made me even more uncomfortable while I waited. During my suspension I honestly had no idea who was there... at all... including people who were involved in my suspension... but it still made me uncomfortable that a lot of people I didn't know were there. So, I guess for me, I'm okay with having a lot of people there, but I want to KNOW them. lol. |

as a client i dont mind a croud.as an artist, i would rather keep the croud down to a min.

For piercings, I like to be on my own. I get pierced with other people, but in a 'one after another' kinda of thing.
As for tattooing, I've been worked on at conventions, so clearly I don't mind there. :) |
