Can any one here help otu on the math here, I'm terrible at math and am wondering if it's correct. Now saline is 0.9% sodium chloride. So if I'm correct that should be about 900mg sodium to about 100g water or would it be 91g water? Is this right? And yes it may seem like a simple question but math was always my worst subject. And as to why I'm using weight over volume, well theres two reasons: One by weight it's way way way more accurate over volume. Two I'm really that lame and broke that I don't have and don't feel like spending the money on a set of measuring spoons especially when I have a scale that'll get the job done more accurately.

Really no one can help with making a saline solution by weight???

I do realize two people have answered but they're unsure also I'm a mathematical idiot so I need a specific amount of salt to use per a specific amount of water.

Thank you. I know I'm an idiot when it comes to math so I appreciate that.

Sorry for being a douche about it though.

9 gram of salt to 9991 gram of water

 9991 grams equals 9.991 Kilograms

9.991 Kilograms of 60 degree F distilled water would have a volume of 9.991 liters

or you could just do the damn 1/4 teaspoon and cup

You're usually a douche so I kind of just expect and ignore it lol. But seriously thanks I hate math always have and I just plain suck at it lol. And I could do the 1/4 tablespoon thing but it's not as fun as using my scale plus I i have not much of a use for it anymore since I don't really weigh much stuff like I used to lol.

I have access to a scale that weighs to the micron.
Fuck pocket sized that weigh a tenth of a gram;
This shit is in a glass case because never mind air circulation;
a piece of dust will throw it off.
I'm talking about a millions of a gram,
that's six spaces to the right of the decimal point;
and it isn't that bullshit where the last position is either a 5 or a zero.
I could measure cocaine down to the particle....
I could measure how many particles stick to the bag.
I wish it was mine.
