hey if anyone can give me a little advice id greatly like it. im a body piercer, with 2 years of an intense apprenticeship and six months of piercing on my own at two busy shops. I love doing genital piercings but up until the other day had never had a request for a fourchette. i have seen a few done, both in different ways. do i go from inside out with forceps? cbr or curved barbell? 12g or 10g? ive researched alot but would like some real input and ive been told to position them as if i was doing a male guishe

miss angel came up with this piercing. they are few and far between and can be rough to heal.the person needs a certain build to have this be a viable piercing," the piercing bible" is a great book and full of info.defiantly do your research before agree to do this piercing. and no it is not the same as a guiche piercing, position  or placement. generally a curved bb is used and 12-10g preferred. as far as technique i have always gone inside out,not wanting the needle tip in the vulva  for the accidental poke. they really need that flap of tissue. feel free to contact at the shop if you need or want( slave to the needle Seattle 206 789 2618) for a more indepth on this one. i suck at typing this kind stuff. adam aman.

I've had a lot of requests for this piercing lately.  As long as the client is anatomically suited, it is really an easy piercing to do.  I have had to turn a few women away, as they did not have a pronounced "flap" to allow proper depth.  I use a curved barbell at a minimum of 12g.  Invest in a variety of sizes of jewelry, I find that this piercing works out better for the client if jewelry is form-fitting.  Of course you need to allow room for swelling initially, but once healing is well under way and the client becomes sexually active again, jewelry that is too long tends to cause more irritation.
