This is my first time posting a topic, as I'm slowly getting back into the grind of the bodymod worlld.
I work as a piercer myself in NS, Ca.

I'm going for my first brand, using electrocautery method, by the talented Rob Hill.

I'm just curious to if anyone did / didnt do certain things before the procedure, or even the night before. I'm getting a little nervous now, but anxious as well.

I hear as well, its just the initial few secs of it touching the skin that hurts?
Any feed back would be great, and I'll update once I've got it

cheers!

my first branding (electrocautery method) was in April and it was like being drawn on aggressively with a bic pen. now I've heard people complain about the smell but all the smell did was make me want a steak.

just remember to breathe and you'll be a.o.k.

I think be basic dos and don'ts apply to this. Do be hydrated and have a decent meal before hand, don't drink a litre of gin, or snort coke off a strippers arse the night before.

thankss for the input,

I do like the idea of snorting coke of a hookers ass, I guess that'll be my saturday evening event.
ahah .
I've been around the smell of it before, that doesnt bother me, I just found I got a little loopy / high from it

I was suprised at how fast and painless (by comparision) my electrocautery brandings were. Had them done by Dave Wiper at Modern Savage, Wakefield, UK. Perhaps it's a matter of where I had them done, or maybe I just respond to certain types of pain differently, but my tattoos and piercings hurt more than my EC brandings, as did (obviously) my skin peels and strike brandings. And the smell? Actually kinda likeable when you get used to it Wink

I am going to say the opposite, personally my chest branding was the worst thing i ever got done (for now). It might be the area, but the outlines of the circles were a lot painful (not the other parts though). I could feel every nerve being burned as well, haha, but still i liked the experience.
