How long do you think you could leave a 2g conch punch out?
I got it in March, and I am getting a behind the ear tattoo next friday. It should be less than an hour, but I want to make sure.
My piercer is out of town..I could call to the shop but decided to post here instead :P
I will also have to q-tip it clean for the two weeks..I can't imagine sea salt feeling good on a fresh tattoo, but I think that will be okay because it is pretty solidly healed.
The inside is pretty much healed..not redness or exposed flesh, but evne healed conches can shrink. Edited by Euphoric - July/28/2010 at 5:40pm |

It's a completely case by case basis on different people's healing time. Would it really be in the way that much if the jewelry was left in though? Seems it'd be harder for any ink/green soap/etc to be dragged in the site if the jewelry was left in. I don't really think you should have too many issues w/ shrinkage for that short amount of time, but expect it to feel tight n probably have a lil resistance on pushing it back through. Saline is your friend.

My (stretched from 3mm) 8mm punch took less than 2 weeks to shrink back completely.

My 00g conch falls out sometimes and I don't notice it for a day or so, get's a little tight when putting it back in, but not bad at all.

my 8 year old conch will shrink a size or two if jewelry is left out for more than an hour or so.
if you are worried about the jewelry getting in the way, maybe wear the jewelry backwards. |

Silacon baby that shit is heaven when you need to get othere work done. It is soft and well move and your hole won't shrink.

+1 for yika. i can leave my 7/16 out for almost half the day n silicon jst pops back in. . i also agree wit mrjonz. if u can leave the jewelery in, ie silicon then try tht
