I've been toying around with the idea for some time. I just have a few question

1. Can it heal "wrong" and look bad?
2. How bad is the healing? I imagine showering would hurt
3. How common are infections?

Any any other information would be awesome =]

I have 6 blade cut scars:

healing and the degree of suck, for me, really depends on how big the piece is, where it is and how detailed it is. some have been easy peasy, others have sucked and sucked bad.

I've never had an infection.

the first few showers are not fun but they soon become really wonderful (depending on how much scrubbing your artist makes you do)

none of mine have healed "wrong" but I have heard of some folks forming keloid scars and ending up with not so beautiful pieces.

it probably depends on where you get the scarification and the technique. what are you going to get?

it also depends on what type of healer you are. i heal really nice so scares dont like me much. i have had my chest done twice now and you can still hardly see it. we even put tattoo ink in it the second time and it is almost gone. im giving it 2 years before i just tattoo over it.

getting it cut wasn't to bad except for right on the boob. that hurt like a bitch. the after care sucked too but i was trying really hard to make it stay so i bugged it a lot. i would much rather do sea-salt and vasalean then the scrubbing, but its what ever you artist tells ya.

also no infections for me too. just take care of it and clean well like you do with all new/old mods.
