Can anyone tell me from there personal experiences what this peircing is like. Is it painful and what jewellry can i have.

i had my 2 right nostril piercings done with a gun and they didn't hurt much, except the pain you get when the gun stabs you.  however i was just lucky that they didn't fuck up.

then i got my left nostril pierced properly..... and it was painful cos the peircer started to do it too weakly.... didn't put enoguh pressure, and so he had to increase the pressure half way throguh since the meat there is quite thick. and yes my eyes did water hehe but it's an unavoidable reaction.... like when you're plucking your eyebrows. your eyes end up watering.

personally, i have 2 small rings in  my right nostril..... i.e. the gun ones.  In the one that I got done with a needle, i've got a 14 gauge labret stud....... flat-back that is.

you can get small bcr's if you wish to, instead of a barbell. pretty much the same as with other piercings.

this peircing is easy becuase its quick and it dosen't hurt after and it barly hurts while getting it done I did it 3 times by myself so if you get it profesonaly it will probily be even be less painful

I watched my friend get hers done, and she said the worst thing was the clamp they shove all the way up.

I would definitely reccomend getting the nostril peircing adjusted to a fish-tail backed jewelry if you want to wear a stud.  I find the posts with buds at the end of them are shitty in 1) the fact that they fall out very easily and 2) it damages the fistula when you take it out or put it in, so you can't change it frequently without being uncomfortable.
