Stumbled across this site thanks to the annoying ads on facebook.
http://www.myinkedspace.com/Default.aspx?ref=INKED
Seems to me like it's a myspace/bmod wannabe site. (It would be perfect for some of the posters around here...if you know what I mean. )
It seems like they're trying way too hard to be like bmod or bme.
The text style on the main page made me really wonder if they took most of the ideas off of bmod. It is a strictly tattoo gallery site from the looks of it.

So...for curiosities sake, what do you guys think about it?

I hear what you are saying, but mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery. (right?)

Why so harsh? "(It would be perfect for some of the posters around here...if you know what I mean. )" (posers, posters?)
You can say that about any mod website that allows you to post pics.

What do I think? It's not a big deal. Just puts our industry into the mainstream some more.

But I like it here and don't plan on joining that site anyway. Posters and all. lol

This is true. Lol.
It's not harsh, you're still a bit on the new side...more of the older members will understand. It's more so targeted towards the people who are posting everyday, trying to be sexy photos, instead of actual mod photos. Hence the "this isn't myspace" comments you'll see at times.
It was more so for humor then anything.

This is my newest profile/e-mail address. My old one sucked and needed better pics etc.

A bit on the new side... whatever. So a newbie has no valid opinion?

Not meant to be harsh? Calling people "posters", that's friendly.

I think there is room for everyone on the web, and this way like you said, people more interested in showing off rather then interested in mods will have their space now, quite clever actually and I predict it will do quite well too

everyone can decorate themselves however they choose. if they want to show off, so what? good for them. isn't that the point of posting pictures of yourself on the internet, to show yourself to others?

I get what you are saying Sara. <3

I don't think it's a big deal though. I mean... bmod and bme don't get to have a complete hold on body modification websites. We just get to have BETTER sites. :-P

I never said a "newbie" didn't have a valid opinion, I was more so referring that some don't understand the rules of posting photos. Good, clear, recognizable photos get posted as mods; the fun, trying to be sexy, etc etc photos are for the blog or personal gallery.
"Posters" refers to everyone who posts a photo. I post photos, I am a poster, you post photos, you are too. It's targeted towards those who don't understand the rules, as mentioned.
I apologize for you taking this the wrong way.

I never said it was a huge deal, but I suppose I need to take even more time thinking about what I'll type to make sure I don't offend anyone...you know I'm nice.   It's more so that the similarities could come across as a site "alliance" or whatnot...if bad practices are taught there, it could give the good sites, a bad name. Like hack shops to good shops. You know?

As I've also said, it was more so for fun, and just seeing what other people noticed that may have been taken off either site. I was pretty out of it when I originally posted this so I was unable to come up with a more humorous title, so I used the "rip off" because it was the first to pop in my head. No need for anyone to get angry or defensive.
Again, posted for fun, opinions, and to see what other similarities others saw. Not to create some pointless arguement over something small.

You'd know if I was being completely, and outright rude...trust me. Lol.
I do apologize to anyone, who took anything the wrong way.
