I have a surface bar through my nape and really like the idea having a D ring through it so i can attach a leash, but i can't find this type of jewellery anywhere! Does anyone know where i can get one from, or if they even exist?
to me it seems like a really obvious idea, can't believe theyre so hard to find! |

Your idea is one that, if done as you invision, will result in an increased rate of piercing rejection...
That being said, you can find captive ring ball ends to fit most surface bars. I would not at all suggest a full, one piece jewelry like you are thinking of, simply due to it's potential to get caught on things, bumped, and snagged which will agitate the piercing... |

If you couldn't get a piece custom made, you could probably try using balls that have threads on each end, bend a barbel into a ) shape then attach it to the balls. It may take a few tries to get it right, but it could work.

Not that I condone going with the D-Ring route, because I agree with FreakyChild in that your rejection rate would be greatly increased. Captive ring attachments would be a better way to go, but too much tension or force will still increase the risks. But if you're heart is set on it, check out:
