When would a 45 degree bend be better than a 90?

Confused

comments, replies would be appreciated..
Peace

The bar should always exit the skin at a 90 degree angle. If there is a place somewhere on the body where a 45 degree angle surface bar does that then it would be better. I have yet to discover a place like that. Some custom bends are cool for piercings like christina sometimes, but never have I used a standard straight 45 angle surface bar. That's just me though.

im with you on this one,
I just found it rather interesting that it was "of option".
The only place I've ever used it was on a pliable pubic piercing by which the angle suited.
Elsewhere a 45 doesn't logically make much sense ( to me anyways)
One could get creative with it for a custom industrial I suppose?lol

I'm personally not a fan of the 45 degree angled surface bars. You can't use them anywhere and they're always likely to reject much faster than a surface bar with a 90 degree angle. Bending bars certain ways for a custom fit is one thing, but the 45 is just useless.

my thoughts exactly,
I was more so curious why it would even be of option.
why are they being made and sold if their purpose equates to minimal relevance.

Why do some companies make and supply many of the worthless things they do? LOL
