So this is a pretty easy question:
Are my lobes big enough to stretch them to 3/4" (20mm)?

I know this question can't be answered 100% without actually trying it, but I just want some professional opinions. 50% of my friends (who are stretching their ears) say it is possible, 50% say it isn't possible. So I hope you guys over here can help me out for a bit.

If the most of you tell me it isn't possible, I won't even try to stretch them.
Here are some photos to give you an idea of my lobes.

its possible, you just need to take your time and be patient, stretch properly and maybe have to downsize and re stretch a few times but it might not even come to that but its always a plus

It would be hard work and take a long time but certainly it is possible.

i got to an inch before i downsides, and i had attached earlobes.

as Hobo said, take your time and stretch properly. It will minimise the chances of blowouts and keep your newly-formed lobes healthy.

It'll probably also help if your piercer does the initial piercing with the knowledge that you want to stretch that large. That way they can pierce you in the right position to help give you as much space as possible.

Thanks for all the feedback so far! Stretching isn't for me about getting as soon as possible to the biggest size I can get. I respect my body and have planned to take it very slowly if I decide to start.

You can always get pierced at a larger size to begin with. My partner had his pierced at 4g in July 2008 and he's been 00 for over a year now.

When the ears are attached, I don't think going with a large gauge initial piercing would be ideal - purely because you'd be removing a chunk that could eventually be used in the formation of the earlobe. But that's just my opinion.

When piercing with a needle you don't remove any tissue, you just create a slot..

Yes, I've heard that piercing a larger size wouldn't make any difference. But when I decide to start stretching I'll look for a reliable and good piercing artist who can inform and pierce me properly. It has to be done good, because I don't think that my tiny lobes like any mistakes. Surely not from the start.
