July 13th, 14th, and 15th

Where?
    Moddities will be held in Denver, Colorado at the 910 Event Art Gallery (910 Sante Fe Drive, Denver CO 80204, www.910arts.com ). This is seriously a beautiful little space! It seems secluded from the outside but once you step through the gates it's a like an awesome paradise! There is an outdoor space for hanging out or other shenanigans just out front of the indoor space and it's mostly closed off from the street for privacy. The indoor space is comfortable and spacious with tall ceilings and a separate space for the working artists, also has a full bar (alcohol for 21+ only), kitchen (byof), and bathrooms. Right next door, connected to the event space is a coffee house (open from 7am to 7pm) and there are also places for eating or more all around the venue. The space is also home to working artists and you can go to the other side of the building and view what the artists are doing or even become involved in an art class. It's really nifty. (Don't worry, they do not have access to the venue) :)
   910 Event Art Gallery is right in the Denver Art District on Santa Fe (north east corner of 9th and Santa Fe) and is easily accessible. It's a really cool area with plenty to do!

    The event is not open to the general public, but the public can attend if they happen to show up. It is a private event for bodymod.org members and their friends. You will be required to sign up for a bmod account on site if you're not already a member.

Thursday Evening - Meet and Greet (El Noa Noa from 6:30pm to 9pm)
    - The meet and greet will be taking place at the El Noa Noa Mexican Restaurant on 7th & Santa Fe, two blocks south of the ModD venue. The have tasty food, an inexpensive menu, vegetarian options and alcohol. We have the back of the outdoor patio from 6:30 to 9/10pm. It will be tons of fun. :)
Friday - 2pm to 12am @ 910 Event Gallery: Suspensions, body art, shenanigans, and more!
Saturday - 2pm to 12am @ 910 Event Gallery: Suspensions, body art, shenanigans, and more!
Sunday - 12pm to 6pm @ 910 Event Gallery: BBQ, suspensions and hanging out times!


Hotels and Other Housing Accommodations
    Three hotel rooms that can accommodate three to four people each will be provided Thursday night to Sunday night (check out is at 12pm on Monday morning). It is $20-$30 a day for each person who decides to stay in a hotel room.  I may be able to provide more depending on the demand. There are hotels located close by the venue and are inexpensive if you choose to do it on your own. You will need to let me know ahead of time if you wish to use my home or a hotel room that I have provided. I am willing to help anyone out who needs it, no worries. :)
    There are MANY inexpensive hotels and other lodging close-by and around the area of the venue, my house, and in Denver in general. I can help you locate hotels and such if you need it, just drop me a line. :)
Hotels Near the Venue

     Broadway Plaza Motel: 1111 Broadway, Denver CO 80203 (Mapquest states that this is a 3 minute drive and only .84 miles from the venue. Probably about a 15 to 20 minute walk.)
     Hilton Garden Inn: 1400 Welton St, Denver CO 80202 (Mapquest states that this is a 5 minute drive and only 1.49 miles from the venue)
     Crowne Plaza Denver: 1459 Glenarm Pl, Denver CO 80202 (Mapquest states that this is a 4 minute drive and only 1.26 miles from the venue.)
     Sheraton Denver: 1550 Court Pl, Denver CO 80202 (Mapquest states that this is a 5 minute drive and only 1.81 miles from the venue).

**The two hotels that are closest are the 11th Ave Hotel & Hostel, and the Broadway Plaza Motel. The 11th Ave Hotel has super reasonable rates and if you guys share a room it becomes pretty inexpensive. Four in one room comes out to around $20 to $25 a night. The phone number is 303.894.0529 and their website is http://www.11thavenuehotelandhostel.com. The gentleman at the counter said it is cheaper to book over the phone.

Walking from the hotel to the venue? Here are the directions:
-Head south on Broadway to 9th Ave.
-Go right on 9th Ave to Bannock.
-Go left on Bannock to the light (Speer Blvd).
-Cross Speer, and go over the bridge to the park.
-Go right on park path to the fork in the path, then left/forward to the street (Delaware & 9th). It's easy to figure out and makes sense once there.
-Follow 9th Ave to Santa Fe, then right on Santa Fe.
-910 Event Gallery is there just as you turn the corner (9th & Santa Fe). You'll see a Skully banner.

Other Traveling Info
    The Denver International Airport (DEN) is the only airport to fly into when coming to Denver. We can help pick people up from the airport. There are also shuttle options which are inexpensive.
   The main highways that come through Denver are I-25, I-70, I-76, C-470, and HWY 285.

Entertainment
    Look forward to award ceremonies, raffles, hot ladies playing with fire, special suspension performances, BBQ times, and more! There is plenty in store. :D

The Santa Fe Art District and Denver - There is a lot to do in the art district (which is where the venue is located). Across from the venue are some restaurants (there are also gas stations and stores close by). 910 Event Gallery is located right on the art strip with many little art shops, food, shopping, and other entertainment. In walking distance of the local bus and light rail. Downtown Denver is only a 10 minute drive from the venue, and there is an array of things to do here.

i wish i could make it! sounds like it should be uber-fun!!

Put me on the maybe list Cale... I'm trying my hardest to have enough moneys, if anyone ever sees a cheap flight from Calgary, Alberta to Denver, please let me know. :)
