Hi,

I would check with xRonix here (bodymod.org). Who works at Extreme Needle. If they don't, xRonix should be able to suggest someone that does.
Added after re-reading. As for age restrictions, if you are not of age to obtain something legally in your country, you could not only get yourself, but also your artist in big trouble. I know at least half a dozen artists who can do this, several of whom work in London. However none of the artists I know would illegally work on a child.

Thanks for your quick reply, I'm not sure if the implant for under 18,s is illegal, but the place I have contacted have a restriction for any peircing or implant for 18s plus, please could you send me the list so I could contact them myself, thanks

all body modifications are 18 and over in england part from some piercings

Or you could come to Ireland coz theres no legal issues for any kind of mod(unbelievablely).

Do you know anywhere in ireland where the implant can be done, and also If the implant is the second generation magnets, thanks for your reply

But why is it that, there are rules in the England, but not in Ireland, im not even sure if it is illegal, and does anyone know the risks, (I know about MRI scans, and if your body rejects it)?

the rules are even more strict in Scotland than in England and we are part of the same Kingdom.
I chose to travel to get work done in England for two reasons, 1 to get work done by a great artist who knows my quirks and 2 even though I could have got the work done closer to home I wasn't comferatable going to a shop that would break the law, even though the shops are spotless and seem to know what they are doing (other than worrying about legalities). In all honesty it's better to wait till you can get the work done by the right person for the job. |
