I had my nipples pierced vertically and took them out over a year ago. They weren't fully healed, probably about 6 months or so in. Later on, about a year ago now, I got them done horizontally.
However... my vertical holes are still open at the top and bottom and both will produce what I'm assuming is the beginning of scar tissue that is easy to push out and pretty soft. Am I right? Is this scar tissue? Do you think it will stop? Or could it possibly be dirt and dead skin from my other holes? It is a definite solid white color and once again, very soft. Looking for advice, PLEASE. ![]() |

If it is a whitish to yellowish "gunk" that is coming out of the holes, it is not scar tissue. It is just sebum escaping. It could be build up from your previous holes that is now escaping when it may not have been able to escape before. It's actually very common for this to happen in old nipple piercings!
