Just announced today, Tool are coming to Australia in April/May.
Makes me warm in the pants to know that!!! I AM getting tickets even if it means selling my offspring. |

I love Tool... I've wanted to see them live for quite a few years now, but every time they come to the US they are in a huge venue that is extremely expensive.

You have exquisite taste in music, my friend!! Tool and I have been inseparable since Aenema.
I've seen them only once before and missed them on another occasion. They don't get out much around this part of the globe so concerts sell out really quickly. Fortunately this time I have access to presales tickets!! Oh and I am also seeing one of Maynards other bands Puscifer in three weeks, and if I had been quicker (and could have afforded it(!)), I could also have seen A Perfect Circle in March at a festival here. Do you know if the are touring in support of a new album? They are always so shady about releasing new work.
I have also seen them five times, the first being in 94 or 95 at Lollopalooza when the were on the second stage. Only a few people had heard of them and they fuckin stole the show. By the end of their set Most of the people there had come over from the main stage to see what it was all about. SUCH a good live show. ENJOY!! |

Mike, god yes!! Well sort of. There was an phone interview with Adam Jones here on radio on Wednesday. He has confirmed they are about halfway through the next album, BUT it won't be out till sometime 2014. That'll make it 8 years since 10000 Days! I've also read statements from MJK online saying basically the same thing. Crossing fingers it's all not a ruse.
