ok first post :) but i got my top of my ear cartilage punched at 8mm and few weeks later it fell out. i wouldn't want to put it back in with dirty hands but when i got home i couldn't get plug in . in the morning it looked like there was a layer of skin covering the hole after a sss i worked a q-tip through. the hole looks like around 6mm my question is when its healed will it be difficult to stretch back to 8mm ??
cheers.. |

Without an actual examination of your ear or at least several good photographs this could prove difficult to assess.
The best advice I can give is to return to the artist who punched your ear and seek their opinion on what to do. |

there is a 6mm plug in there now and its sealed "tight" to it , but once cartilage is removed it does not regenerate right ? so the area between the plug and the cartilage will be able to stretch later down the line because it will just be skin ?

the cartilage removed will never grow back, scar tissue and the surrounding tissue expanded and shrunk the hole. It'll be easy to get back up to size, it'll be like stretching a lobe piercing.
