It would depend on where you live. Laws vary between nations. In the UK you need a license from a health inspector.

You should probably start with getting some proper training from someone who is qualified and then let them arrange things.
The majority of what you will be evaluated on are techical hygiene and legal matters which as an untrained person illegally piercing from home you probably will have had almost no instruction on.

You mean the "tattoo school" from television?

A tattoo school would, surely, teach tattooing rather than piercing?

To learn piercing you would do better being trained by a qualified piercer, that is to say a piercer who themselves has a piercing license.

Check this link out. You might find it very helpful.

Don't take this the wrong way, I mean well I promise.

If you didn't take a legit apprenticeship from a professional body piercer, chances are you aren't doing everything right and maybe have developed some bad habits that would be frowned upon in a piercing studio. I would suggest, no matter where you live, to search around for a piercing apprenticeship so that a professional piercer can see how you do things and tell you what you are doing right or wrong and help guide you. When the piercer feels confident in what you do and he/she feels that you are a professional quality piercer then they will pass you and might even hire you at their shop or point you in the right direction. :) I want to become a piercer as well someday soon hopefully!

Good luck.
