I recently decided to take my steel, double flared tunnels out and had some trouble. They don't screw off or anything so I used some ky to make it easier. They both came out but one got cut on the inside from the steel. What should I do? I have silicone tunnels I was planning on putting in, but I don't want them sticking. I'm currently not wearing anything. I figured I'd let my ears breath.

silicone should only be used in well healed piercings, go to a studio and put in a pair of sterile tunnels; as for opening the tunnels you already have, try to boil them in a mixture of drinkable water and detergent to unstick them, and don’t wear them just yet
