Hi! I'm brand spankin' new here, my names Sonya. Sooo, about 3 months ago in July I got my cheeks pierced. Around the second month I noticed a bump forming on the bottom of my left cheek. A few weeks ago the pressure I felt on the bump was unbearable, so I decided to lance it and drain the fluid. I thought maybe it would scab up and that would be the end of it. But, today I still have it. I feel no pressure or pain. I'm just worried it could be a cyst. Also, you may be wondering why I didn't go back to my piercer. Well. Long story short I wasn't very happy with my visit. So I'm hoping someone could maybe shine some light on my situation. I plan on going to my family doctor this upcoming week.

looks like a gnarly pimple, I still get mutant pimples on my ear lobe around my old piercings.

but yeah make sure you leave the jewlery in - if it turns into an infection or something it'l need a way out.

just remember: the area is freshly pierced and i'm sure your trying your best not to bump it - even in the shower (see where i'm goin with this?) i'v also had/seen pimples around fresh piercings because of changed hygene habits.

Interesting! Thank you for your response. Do you think it could have anything to do with the scar tissue from an old piercing? Few years back I had my cheeks pierced in that exact same area.

you probably have a cyst in your cheek from the old piercing, be patient and take good care of both the piercing/pimpley thing and you'l be golden; might take a while to go away though.
