Would you say you have spiritual beliefs or religious beliefs? What do you believe in?

Apparently I believe in too much.

I'm a non believer. Believing takes to much energy.
I make my way through this world a man alone, but never lonely.

I am a combination of both. To me, religion is a set group of beliefs, to be taken on faith, regardless of if there is proof of the existence of what you believe, but NOT in conflict with the way that the observable, quantifiable universe works. Spirituality is the ability to interact with the world around on all levels, both physical and metaphysical.

I am religious in the sense that I have a set of beliefs that are based on faith, and spiritual in the fact that I interact with what I can percieve in the world. How much I can see out of what's out there, though, is a matter of debate. After all, if you stop second-guessing yourself, if you stop doubting your abilities, then you stop striving and fighting to make yourself more.

I don't believe in organized religion....but I do believe that there is some kind of higher power...or atleast something greater than us...I guess I would call myself spiritual.

I'm Wiccan... for a long time I didn't consider myself to be any particular religion, just had a set of beliefs of my own. Then I read something about Wicca and found what I belive fitted exactly with Wiccan beliefs, so...

wiccan here as well....... even though i'd rather say i'm spiritual not religious.... rleigious to me implies a scene like the Opus Dei thing...... obsession with religion, and things like that.

I say religion is what you believe and spirituality is how you live and how you use those beliefs in your daily life.  I think that they go hand in hand but are not the same.  I don't necessarily believe that you have to be religious to be spiritual though.....

What I mean is, organized religion doesn't make one spiritual.  I also believe that if you have a way of living that is good, than one can be spriritual without religion.

I'd say I'm spiritual rather than religious. Organized religion weirds me out...and that drives my uber-religious family bonkers. LOL

OK, I have to throw this question out there, because it's been a big debate among the pagan community in my home town: Those of you that identify yourselves as Wiccan, are you Gardnerian, Alexandran, or neo-hedge witch? All of these are identified these days as "Wiccan," and it's kinda confusing. And if you identify as Gardnerian, do you follow the 216 laws?
