Hello all. I posted in the pro's section for pro input, but I would really value any experiences you'd be willing to share here.
Here's the short story: had a PA, had to remove it for some medical tests. Boy, did that sucker close up fast - just a few hours; less than a day. Now ready to pierce again. But now, also, have some scar tissue I'd rather be rid of. So my piercer is going to do a dermal punch rather than a needle pierce. We're going to punch at 8ga and immediately stretch to 6ga. But ... all those nice small gradations between gauges stop suddenly at 8ga. The leap to 6ga looks huge! Maybe some of that is nerves (maybe all of it ![]() So, anyone had an 8ga pierce/6ga stretch? Or similar? Or had any experience that would be interesting to hear. Thanks ahead of time. Cheers. Cliff |

he guy i pierced at 6 right away it really was not diffucult. have stretched up to a 0000 ga . the only problem was the initial piercing wasnt far enough down thw shaft on the bottom so now there is only a small piece of head holding the ring in and keeping it from turning into a meato. my advisewould be sure the bottom opening is at least 1/2 to 3/4 down from the head i think this would solve my problem if it was done this way good luck

It was only about two months old. It probably wasn't even totally healed yet. Bummer.

sucks to hear...mine's finally healed. It took just over two months. ..If you plan on getting it done lower, make sure to use a ring that accommodates an erection. Mine was done lower down the shaft. (planning on a seperate piercing on the other side to wear a horizontal ring.) Yeah, that first night after I got it pierced was probably the most painful boner I ever had....

Hey pseud,
Taking your advice. I'm double checking to make sure I have a ring with a large enough diameter. Checked your profile and saw your comments - regarding the "showerhead effect," you can just about eliminate that by going to a curved barbell, sometimes called a bent barbell. I had just gone to one a few days before I had to take it out. Depends on what kind of jewelry you prefer. Saw your vids. When I got my PA, it was totally bloodless. Not a drop. The piercer just let me zip up and go. By the time I arrived home about 8 minutes later, my pants were FULL of blood. The moment I stood up I could feel it start running down my legs. What an experience. The blood just poured out for about ten more minutes but, thankfully, when it stopped it stopped for good. I've already got some Kotex pads ready for this piercing. I'll have pics of my piercings and tattoos up soon. About a week, I hope. Cliff |

Hey cool, can't wait to see 'em. Yeah, I've got a cbr in place of the original jewelry now. I need to go ahead and get that bent barbell, but I've been too lazy to look around, so al little spray is fine right now...lol.
The blood though.....man, for like three to five days straight. The worst part of that was the early morning piss every day.

They actually tend to heal very easy; for the most part I would wash it a couple of times a day and thats it. Peeing actually helps in the healing process and doesn't hurt when you do it, so. The bleeding was a little annoying, and the first week was fairly painful, but my job consists of me walking around a lot. Mine may have taken longer than some, but two months is common in the time it takes to heal. |
