I've been into branding for a while now. My ex and I did some really
sketchy work with various metal objects heated to red hot and dragged
across the skin. They didn't stay around for very long, but they came
out all right considering. I was thinking about buying a cautery pen so
that I could do some more professional-quality work. I'm a decent
artist and I've got a steady hand, but what else should I know about
this before I get to work i.e. sterilzation, planning, etc?

The pens work great for small lines, but anything large and they are just too slow maybe keep around for detail work but I think strike branding is the way to go....and dont drag the heated tool, you will just droop the skin......and the metal cools quickly for prep, I shave the area, alcohol, iodine, dry....brand |
