I used to smoke it on a daily basis, but then I graduated from HS (surprisingly) Now I only smoke every once ina while due to my job having random drug screenings  ------------- For the life of me I still can't think of a good sig. Maybe there should be a contest for me called "pick a sig" |

i've never done it, but i know people who have. I had a friend in High School that would smoke before an orchestra performance and he said that it was very reaxing and the only thing that would calm his nerves so that he could play and not screw it up for the rest of us. I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing and if you're into that than more power to you. Though here in the dorms at my school, there isn't much smoking... we'd get in trouble if they discovered tobacco products in our possesion... You can imagine what they'd do to us if they discovered us smoking anything...ARGH!!! ------------- a wonderful teacher yoda is. |

I have tried pot so it's not like I've never had any experience... I smoked in 3rd grade up till the middle of 4th when i got caught... I ralized how bad it is for you and I'm sick and tired of my best friend calling me saying "You won't believe how high I am now" or "I think I'm pregnat" just last night I was at her house to hang out and her other friend came over and got high with her! I hate watching her do that and her asking me "Dude, are my eyes bloodshot?" I hate the fact the she is always hiding from her parents becuse she's afraid!! Well... If it's so great? Aye, I use to smoke awhile back like a person smokes cigarettes, It wasn't nothing to punish a quarter in a day, now I hardly ever touch the stuff, I think I smoked it so much the high started to fade and it just 'normal', Its hard to explain. So I quit, now I smoke it bi annually I suppose, couple times a year or whatever, and the high is amazing. Not to mention I save alittle bit of money, also incase most of you weren't aware, Marijuana is legal in Alaska now, you must be 18 or 21 to have it, etc, I'm not too clear it's been awhile since I heard about it on CNN. But anyway, smoke it up.
P.S and if Sisbunnie is still trying to thrash on people to smoke that says, 'Its bad for you', or whatever, I noticed in your recent post that you drink. Alright, Why do you bash these people who love to smoke, but you infact drink? Drinking will get you in more trouble than one could ever imagine. How many people drink and drive? I haven't smoked pot in a while .. allways gave me the munchies .. everything that was more or less eatable that crossed my path disapeared ruthless in my stomach lol -- result +30lbs -- so I cut it down a fair bit anyways ... I just wanted to reply to all the crap on the forum before Do you ever think about the fact why marihuana is called soft-drugs en alcohol harddrugs? Alcohol is far more destructive then marihuana. It's addictive, as well physically as mentally. And guess what Sisbunnie???? Ever heard of livercancer????????? I heard its even more painfull then lungcancer. Besides who says you have to smoke tar? You can also smoke a waterpipe and only have the good benefits of it. So there is no way of hiding behind your drinks, if you think bout it its even worse. Besides I rather hang around stoned ppl then around drunk ppl. Drunks are aggresive morons. Stoned ppl are just dumb, relax and so lovable lol I'm just glad I never had to hide anything from my parents like that, cus they arent ignorant, infact, I smoked my first one together with my parents, they rather have me come home stoned then drunk. So next time if you wanna start getting ignorant, pls read up first and see how many carcrashes there are in the weekend, how many fights with a bad ending, how many bad family situations there are out there .. all tx to the alcohol p.s. I'm a casual smoker. On average I would estimate I partake of marijuana once or twice a week, though I've gone for several month stretches without smoking. I suffer from pollution allergies (congestion and such) that make it hard to smoke anything (gotta love Billings Montana and it's 50 refineries ------------- |

i like to smoke sum every now and again. I used to a lot when i was with my last boyfriend cuz he used to hit me whenever he got drunk or was messed up on some other kind of trip. It was my escape from the reality of pain that i was in. I feel if it helps you in any way go for it smoke till your hearts content. |

i cant smoke the shiite, it puts me in pain (my knees dislocate, and every time i'm high all i can feel is that pain, over and over again... it's weird, i know), but i have dreads and live in portland, OR, so everyone assumes i do. i don't really like the high, either, it's too numbing and i feel sedated. i prefer mushrooms (but only on a rare occasion), much more mind-stimulating!! but hey, if you smoke, smoke to your heart's content... hell, take a toke for me!! on a side note-- who needs drugs when you have endorphins?! want a good high? have someone put a few needles through you! ------------- Monika! |

Maybe the stats are wrong, But it seems that damn near half the modders are smoke free, Which is kinda funny because most people in society think modders are pot smokers, Most people assume I do and are shocked when I say not for me, Most actually think im a full of shit closet smoker and that I have to be fucked up on somethin to do such things to myself. i am a gfairly frequent smoker but whenever i do any of my piercing/sm performance i am always clear headed for at least 24 hours beforehand, and afterwards people nearly always ask me what i was on to be able to do that and i always have to say nothing.... i enjoy dope but i also am way addicted to endorphins and adrenaline :) |

This is a great topic and I must say, marijuana has helped me out in so many ways. I use it for about 7 years now. At first it was pleasure, now I use it medicinaly(sp?) anyway, I was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver as a result of this, I use marijuana to ease my pain, cure the nausea from the pain killers I have to take to get me through my day at work (network admin). It helps so many other things also, like relaxing my muscles etc. It keeps me alert, and on task. My doctor is completely aware and totally approves. He even told me he would rather me smoke weed than have to rely on nacotics. So, I am a total PRO-Marijuana advocate. I fight for NORML and sign all ballots. There are so many benefits for my situation

it really all depends on the person. my uncle was a heavy user when he was in school and hes a genius--literally my cousin bacame a heavy user and now is a dealer and has been arrested and stopped playing baseball--which he kicked ass at and couldve been something great--and his life is not going anywhere worthwhile i could list lots more people but it would be boring. i just wanted to say that everyone handles substances differently. do what you want as long you dont hurt anybody else or regret what you do to yourself. hug a tree. |

Well.. I live in the Netherlands, and most people think especially teenagers are totally drugged up. It's not really like that; we do have rules. Tried weed myself just a couple of times but it didn't really have effect on me and I thought it wasn't really special. But I know some people who depend their lives on it ... We get educated about drugs well enough here and everyone (should) know the side-effects of it. And it depends; a friend of mine smoked weed evry day and he totally lived in his own world, but there are enough people who react different on it. ------------- |
