So I've had a microdermal anchor on my chest & I'm really happy with it, no pain no bleeding just the tiniest bit of bruising. I was told to wear mepore over it at night so I dont catch it while its healing, only problem is the patches are irritating my skin & Im starting to get a big red square on my chest where the plaster has been!
Does anyone know of any dressing which would be kinder to my skin or should I just leave it undressed??

i usually recommend tegaderm, most any breathable bandage will work.

yar i always used tegaderm. it can be a bit pricey but it works quite well.

I had the same issues and not even tegaderm really helped. just had to go with leaving 'em uncovered after a while, cause I got sick of the irritations...

I sleep like a log most nights so I was left mine uncovered. Still healed really nice and never woke up to pain :)

Maybe get a hypoallergenic medical tape in a pharmacy and use kitchen towel to make your own dressing :)

I covered the one on my sternum & chin for the first few hours, after that just left em alone, same with the ones in my arms & leg.  Can't complain about them at all

why would you bother with hypollergenic medical tape if you're going to use a kitchen towell?  if you'd said sterile gauze it may have made sense.  don't use non-sanitary products to cover your piercings, especially healing ones.

I used a band aid for the first couple of nights, then left mine uncovered and they are on my back, they both healed fine :)
