So, how much has everyone spent on mods?
I was bored lastnight and I worked out that I've spent $710 (new zealand dollars) on mods
thats not including jewellery anyway

Oh yeah, I wasn't counting jewelry. I've probably spend close to $250-$300 just on jewelry over the years.
Which I know isn't all that much, but I only have three current piercings right now. :B

for all of my 30+ hours of tattooing that's on my body, i think i've spent in the neighborhood of $300 american... damn, i'm glad i'm such good friends with a badass tattoo artist... added to that, i've spent around $500 in the past couple years on friends tattoos.... i'm a giver, it's what i do..... |

Piercings: $710. but now i get them for free because i work at the place i get pierced. Tattoos: I've had about 35 hours of tattooing but since my best friend is a tattoo artist i've only paid a total of $1200 which should actually work out to $3500 |

Ha i've only had 9 hours worth of tattooing done but at £80 an hour so thats... £720 so far....
Oh and piercings so around £800 not including jewellery or aftercare ------------- Thou shall not use music to get into Girls pants, use it to get into their minds!! |

On piercings, without jewelry, less than 50$ easy... the cost of a clamp and needles... the jewelry I buy is wholessale, so even the jewelry I've bought hasn't been too bad, less than one-hundred...
On tattoos, nothing. I have a polynesian friend, who is basically a tat from head to toe, who does them for free.

| Hmmmm not too much out of pocket....I always get gift cards from friends and family to the shop I go to, my piercer doesn't charge me for piercings, and jewelry is either a gift from him, or 1/2 off...so I really only pay for tips most the time...that is if I haven't baked him something. So around $150-$250 I guess? I also buy piercings for my friends too... |

my estimation is $2350. for jewelry, suspensions, piercings, implants, tongue splitting, and two tattoos. ill be spending thousands more =) suspensions $320 piercings around $800 tattoos $300 implant $380 split tongue $200 jewelry around $350 ------------- heartless |

I've spent a ton in the past two years or so. I've spent roughly $370 USD on all of my piercings and about $2200 on all of my tats so far. My sleeve has cost me $2000 so far and I still have another $1000 or so to go. Ugh. None of this is including tips either. Oh well, you get what you pay for I always say and I love modding so I bite the bullet :D |

93 hours of tattooing so far......... in all, including temp piercings for pics-- over 70 piercings total. in jewelry alone on my genital piercings i have spent just on jewelry alone almost 600. then at 70 a piece for the piercing, that would run over 1200 in just the one piercing project. we have spent quite a large amount of money on my mods, all so very worth it..... ------------- heres to making things go boom!!!^^^ |

i would assume round 90 quid for 4 of my piercings, and round 10 for all the rest.. after paying a min of 25 for every piercing, i got smart and bought 50 needles for a tenner and saved a lot:P and i cant even calculate the money i spent on jewelery, tapers etc up to now..but those cost me a lot.. ------------- the good die first.. |

Certainly more than 15000 dollars, but in the case you're afraid by the value, over a 15 years span it's like 100 dollars a month :o) Quite similar to what you'd pay for cigs and deservingly die from lung at 45 y.o. when your kids will be 10 and 15 y.o. and watching you in the eyes. |

I am sure it is well over a thousand and I get off pretty easy because I work at the shops where it has been done.
I have thousands of dollars worth of tattoos.
I have had two sub dermal implants by shawn o'hare.

My tat was 500 swiss francs, about 310 euro, about 460 usd, about 250 gbp. My lobe piercings, I don't remember, probably about 100 euro for all 7. My rook, 45 euro, nostril 35 euro, having my lobes stretched by a piercer around 100 euro, all including initial jewellery. So in total about 590 euro, 460 gbp, 875 usd. |

i have no tattoos and although i have a lot of piercing work, i've only spent a few hundred on my piercings, punches, scarification work and tongue split (and my suspension was free). maybe six hundred dollars tops (canadian)? not including jewellery and tools of course. i do most of my own piercings and purchase my needles wholesale so prices for equipment aren't too bad for me, and i've got a ton of jewellery. i've spent much more on jewellery than i have for actual work done on me.

Wow, most of you guys have spent shit-loads! Either my piercer's just really cheap, or you're all getting ripped off, lol.
