- Back from APP Conference. It was AMAZING!
I was born and raised in Southern California, and worked at Gauntlet for a number of years, when it was still the only piercing studio in the US.
In the early 1990s I moved to New Orleans and opened my own studio, Rings of Desire, which I ran for over 12 years.
I closed after Hurricane Katrina and moved to the Yucatan of Mexico with my awesome husband. We live here with our 7 dogs, and we LOVE it!
Now I do guest piercing around the US, and I wrote a book: The Piercing Bible--The Definitive Guide to Safe Body Piercing (Random House, 2009). Life's good! For more info, you can see my bio here: http://piercingbible.com/author
